SBS is a rapidly-growing IT services company that is seeking a motivated individual to internal IT operations for our Executive Team, other corporate staff, and employees. The successful candidate should be a proactive, service-focused individual who believes that no detail is too small, and no service is unimportant. The ability to be flexible in responding to a wide variety of needs is a must. A desire to drive IT initiates and own/lead IT projects is required.
 
Some office administration experience is preferred. Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, a keen attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and strong oral and written communication capabilities are desired. A responsive individual with strong follow-up skills are highly desired. Must be able to independently prioritize tasks.  This job also requires a full-time presence in the office during business hours of Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm with occasional off-hours system upgrade and/or downtime work.
 
Requirements:
  • Qualified applicants will have demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills, particularly in technical areas, and effective written and oral communication skills
  • A degree in a computer-related field is not required, although relevant coursework and/or experience is preferred
  • An ideal candidate would have exposure to basic LAN concepts, a strong understanding of TCP/IP and other network protocols, experience administering Windows Active Directory and Exchange 2016
  • Experience in administration cloud-based technologies (Office 365)
  • Endpoint monitoring and protection experience (Sophos, Trace)
  • Ability to research, lead, plan and execute IT projects such as:
  • Implementation of electronic records (e-signature) platform
  • Centralized ticket and service request management
  • Enterprise risk management
  • Compliance efforts including writing policies and/or documenting processes
  • Aptitude for and willingness to learn new technologies are considered essential skills for this position, which requires a significant amount of self-paced, self-directed study
