Azure Stack Engineer (TS/SCI)

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI
Certifications: Security +, DoD 8570 accreditation – IAT level II
Strategic Business Systems currently seeking highly qualified, experienced, and motivated candidates for a Azure Stack Engineer.. The individual will joining an existing team to provide System Admin support for our Federal Government customer in the Arlington, VA site.
As an Azure Stack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and ongoing support of the customer's infrastructure solutions. You will be responsible for configuring and maintaining Azure Stack environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security. This role requires a strong understanding of Azure services, infrastructure management, and cloud technologies.
A current active Top Secret/SCI clearance is needed to be qualified for this role.

As an Azure Stack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and ongoing support of the customer's infrastructure solutions. You will be responsible for configuring and maintaining Azure Stack environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security. This role requires a strong understanding of Azure services, infrastructure management, and cloud technologies.
A current active Top Secret/SCI clearance is needed to be qualified for this role.
- Provide upgrade recommendations on the Azure stack environment
- Apply Security patches as required
- Provide Azure software maintenance support
- Redeploy of Azure if needed
- Assist with stigging
- Assist with remediation of the ATO – only gathering reports/logs as required
- To assist in coordinating and originating service Cases.
- Assisting the repair technicians as needed.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a system administrator, cloud engineer, or similar role, with a focus on Azure Stack administration.
- Proficiency in configuring, deploying, and managing Azure Stack Hub and Azure Stack Edge environments.
- Strong knowledge of Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and security features.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting, ARM templates, and automation tools for infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud architectures, Azure Active Directory, and identity management solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in Azure Stack environments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
